Norther California wedding

This is possibly the most romantic wedding I've seen in the hundreds of weddings I've seen on blogs. I had to post it even if it wasn't some crafty handmade object. I guess this is somewhat of tribute to my fiance and I to remember to "keep it real" in these next 75 days before "we do".

doily votive jars!

ok, so if you haven't noticed, I really like doilies. I don't know, there's just something about things decorated with doilies that appeals to me. I'm not even a really girly girl or anything but I love doilies and lace.

I recently got engaged (YAY!!!) and flowers and table decorations are definitely on my mind. I only want jars and bottles as vases for flowers so when I saw this I thought it was brilliant! I can still have my jars and bottles but dress them up so they look pretty : )

Engaged!!!

I'm engaged and I'm so excited! I couldn't be happier to be getting married to the one person who I adore and love the most. There are SO SO many wonderful DIY projects that I can't wait to get started on. I'll update my process as I go! YAY!

cutest DIY guest goodie bags

This idea is absolutely precious/time saving/money saving/a must do!!!

I know there are many ladies out there want to save money in all the right places when it comes to a wedding. Giving little thank you gifts to the out of town guests is kind of one those things you can forget these days and no one will notice. THIS idea can still allow you to give [if you want] while still save the money! I love when you can find happiness in both worlds :)

Little sewing kits are always handy. I make sure to keep one on me whenever I travel because who knows when you'll need to repair that popped button! And c'mon, everyone loves to snack. But you don't have to put sweet treats in those bags you could fill them with other things-be creative!

Also, I just love it when templates are already online and available.

Plantable tags!

This is brilliant!! This would be a great gift all intself!

100% recycled tags created from gathered junk paper and cut into various shapes. They are triple pressed, dried indoors to preserve their color and hung by hemp string. Different types of seeds are mixed in the process to create lovely plantable gift tags! Great idea for a wedding too : )
